When looking for the best acne spot treatment it can be difficult to know, out of the many to choose from, which one to go with. This was a problem that I had, and the way I solved this problem was by testing many different top acne spot treatments over the years.
I did not deliberately go out with the idea of testing many different spot treatments, but over the years I went from one to another, mainly because I was never really satisfied with the results I was achieving. However there were a few that did work for me. Below I have created a list of what has worked best on my acne. Hope it helps.

There has also been a clinical study on the product that showed 100% of the participants showed some improvements from day 1. The active ingredient in this spot treatment, like most others is salicylic acid. Applying the product once a day will help to reduce inflammation and the redness of pimples.

2. Burt's Bees Acne Spot Treatment
Description
I really like this acne spot treatment from Burt's Bees as they use many natural ingredients, something I really believe in for clearing acne. Again the active ingredient is salicylic acid, but other ingredients include tea tree, calendula, yarrow extract, parsley extract and borage extract to help promote healthy looking skin. It is also dermatologist tested and non-comedogenic (wont clog pores). Applying this to the facial area twice day should provide results within 3-7 days.

3. Peter Thomas Roth Acne Spot And Area Treatment
Description
There are many mixed opinions on the treatment, but I personally have found it to be good. It uses 5% sulfur and 4% glycolic acid complex to help clear up acne and helps cell turn-over, leaving the skin looking healthy and acne-free.To use as directed apply to the skin 3 times a day. If you have not used the product previously, or have sensitive skin apply once daily, slowly working up to 3 times daily. If skin dryness occurs discontinue use of the product.

4. La Roche Posay Effaclar Ai Intensive Acne Spot Treatment
Description
This is an oil-free and non-comedogenic spot treatment. What I like about this spot treatment is that it also works to help reduce acne marks, also know as hyperpigmentation marks. When using this ingredients within the product may cause the skin to become sensitive, and will require a sunscreen before going out, to avoid skin damage from the suns UV rays. To use apply the product over the entire facial area 3 times daily, if skin dryness occurs reduce amount of times you apply to 1 or 2 a day, if the problem does not stop discontinue use.

5. Neoceuticals Acne Spot Treatment Gel

Description
This acne formula gel contains a NeoHydroxy Complex that will penetrate into the pores, helping to eliminate pimples and prevent new acne breakouts. When applying this treatment on the package it recommends to apply by fingertip, I would personally not do this as your fingers using pick up a lot of dirt, bacteria and grease, instead use a cotton swab. This is what I do when I apply most acne treatments, its a tip I found awhile back and found it to be helpful.

These are the best spot treatments I have used for clearing acne. I cannot guarantee you, in-fact I can positively say you will get different results from me, but in general these are also what others in the acne community have also found to work best for them.
