It is a 100% natural product with the only ingredient being calcium bentonite clay. It does not contain any other added ingredients at all. It comes from Death Valley, California were it is extracted from the valleys and left to sun dry for 6 months, it is then bottled up and ready to be sold. How To Use Aztec Indian Healing Clay
On the product label it advises to use equal parts clay to apple cider vinegar or water, but you can also use other ingredients such as honey (that is what I use), cranberry juice, aloe vera gel. Basically anything that will mix well with the clay, experiment and see what works best for you and your skin.
After you have chosen what you are going to mix with the clay *I will use water for this tutorial* add 1-2 tps of clay into a plastic bowl (never metal) and then equal parts water and mix until you get a smooth, paste like consistency, add more water or clay as needed.
The next step is to apply to the entire facial area. The product description recommends leaving on for 5-10 minutes if you have sensitive skin, or 15-20 minutes for normal skin. I have sensitive skin but I leave it on for the full 20 minutes because I find that 5-10 minutes does not leave enough time for the mask to fully dry and work it magic. A good tip is to apply with a foundation brush, you will get an even application, it is also how they apply facials at spa's.
Once the mask has dried it's time to wash it off. To do this simply use a cleanser and lukewarm water (never hot) and keep massaging the cleanser over the skin and washing off with lukewarm water until the mask is fully removed. Pat the face dry and you done. Up next, the results......
My Results
Just after removing the aztec secret healing clay mask my face was red, which after the first time using the mask freaked me out a little, but it goes after around 30-60 minutes. After some research I also found out that it was normal, and it was because the mask was pulling the blood flow to the facial area, which is beneficial for the skin, and especially if you suffer from acne.

Once the redness went I was blown away by the results. My skin felt smooth, oil-free and had a nice glow, something that I previously thought impossible for my troublesome skin. My pores were also much smaller and it brought any zit or blackhead to the surface.
