Are you looking for the best blender for smoothies?
When people search for the best smoothie blender there is actually no difference between a regular blender or smoothie blender, it is just a name regularly used. When looking for the best blender for smoothies it can be very difficult due to the masses of controversial reviews. The only way you can really find the best blender is by testing yourself, which is exactly what I did.
In the summer of 2010 I tested what are considered the top 5 blenders by many. They include they Vitamix, Blendtec, Hamilton Beach Personal Blender, Kitchen Aid 5 Speed Blender and the Magic Bullet Blender. All 5 get great reviews and are often the 1st choice for many.
If you are considering any of the blenders listed or are still browsing for the perfect blender for you and your family to enjoy smoothies and more I hope that the information below will be helpful to you in making your decision, after-all this is the reason this site was created, to help people make the right choice and to provide useful information.
Tested Smoothie Blenders
VitaMix 1700 Turbo Blend 4500: The Vitamix is a household name and is considered the best blender by many, rivaled only by the BlendTec in most peoples opinion. It is often referred to as the Rolls Royce of Blenders due to the quality, but the downside is the cost is very high at around $400.
BlendTec Total Blender: The BlendTec is famous for its innovative designs and "will it blend" commercials were the BlendTec is shown blending various items such as the IPhone etc. If you want to buy Blendtec HP3A blender for the cheapest price check out the link provided.
KitchenAid 5 Speed Blender: The 5 speed blender from kitchen Aid is a very durable machine. It is available in many different colors to match most Kitchen decor, and at around $99.00 is a great buy.
Hamilton Beach Personal Blender: If you want a blender that is small and compact that can be taken with you on the go the Hamilton beach personal blender is for you. And for under $20 you cannot go wrong.
Magic Bullet Express Blender: Nearly everyone knows of the Magic Bullet blender due to its hugely popular infomercials. It may not live up to everything that is shown in the infomercials but is still a good blender.

The blenders above are what I found the be the best for the tasks or specification in the question. I tested each blender for 1 month periods at a time and after many months of testing I finally decided that the best blender for me over-all was the BlendTec HP3A Home Blender, with the VitaMix coming in at a very close second, Hamilton Beach Personal Blender in 3rd, Kitchen Aid in 4th and the Magic Bullet Blender in 5th.
